Default Got new numbers guys!

Hey everybody. Went to the dyno today. It ran real good. I was really rich up top, a little lean down low, only had my timing set at 10*, and no SCT chip. She pulled 278 RWHP/316 RWTQ!! N/A. I thought that was great. Once the chip gets tuned and the car evens out on the air/fuel, I should make over 300 RWHP! I didn't spray it cause it was cold, and I fogot the bottle in the car. Also, I wasn't sure if my injectors would handle a 150 shot. I might have to switch to a wet kit. Once I go to the dyno in Connover on the 28th, I will spray it. Hes my tuning guy. the guys here are cool, but I used the other guy on the Chip the first time and trust him. Also because he has a Mustang dyno, not a chassis dyno. Its better tune for the track and street. I would have gotton a video, but my camera batteries died, and I didn't have others. DANG!!

I had been running the 150 dry, and it worked fine. I am afraid that my inj. won't be able to support it. So I want to look for a wet kit upgrade. But the plate for the TFS intakes are SO expensive! $258! I would love to do it that way. But I will have to see. Why you say I wouldn't want to run a 150 dry?

Okay WTF guys. THis guy made like 35whp more than me and he has way better heads and a better cam. So whats up with dissing my 244whp with GT40Ps and an alphabet cam? PS, he also has better air/fuel delivery because it can be tuned a bit better than carb. So come on...how do you figure 244 is low for me?

PS, GOOD DYNO RUNS!

Thanks Stanger. I never dissed you on your nums. I thought they were quite respectable. Carbs are hard to tune. I hate em. Fuel inj. is more costly to tune tho. so it has its ups and downs. I can't wait to get it totally tuned and maybe take it to the track once before it gets too cold up here.

I was not referring to you, I was just wondering why everyone thought my car was dog **** while you only got +1 reviews, yet you have aluminum TFS heads and a better cam and "only" made 35whp more (sounds about right to me). Not dissing you or trying to pick a fight in your thread, just thought it a bit odd the responses. Again, +1 (oh, the carb smoothed out my idle a LOT from FI and is wierdly easier to start (no IAC going nuts on me).
