Holley SysteMaxII or Edelbrock Performer EFI
I have a 92 mustang GT with 37,000 original miles on it and im looking to start putting some high performance parts on it. I already have a K&N cold air intake, shorty headers, the good ol' cat back exhaust, short throw shifter and underdrive pullies on it. Im ready to start doing some things to the engine now but i cant decide between the SysteMaxII or Edelbrock Performer EFI. Both are around $2200 for the whole package. I need some help here...heck I am even debating a 86-93 5.0L Vortech V-1 SC-trim Supercharger Kit 5-6 psig about $2000. Which out of these three is more "bang for the buck" in your opinion?
Thanks, David

I'd go with a H/C/I but I wouldn't personally buy a kit. If it were me, I'd get a set of AFR 165's (maybe 185's.. depends on if i were to s/c it in the future) Systemax intake and cam would depend on the rest of my set-up and where I want my range to be and how I want it to idle. I'd personally go for a smaller cam, for good mid-range torque, and good idle, but that's just me personally.. The way I see it... I don't care if my car makes 500hp... it's gonna make that hp at something like 7000rpm, with the sacrifice of torque, where on a street car, is useless, and hard on the motor. So I'd rather a car that makes say 350hp at 5500rpm then loads of torque to go with that, which is where my car will be running, as it is a street car.
Besides, you can get a very good H/C/I set-up for roughly the 2200 you're lookin at

Ex. FWD cars are non-posi
If you've ever driven a 4WD truck with 4W engaged, you'll notice when you crank the wheel, it feels like the truck's jerking, that is because both front wheels are spinning at the same speed, which is bad for turning, you want both independant (outside spins faster than inside, simple physics)
