FUEL PUMP WONT COME ON

RE: FUEL PUMP WONT COME ON
No, I also checked the inertia switch its fine. What else is there? I remember someone saying that the fuel pump relay is'nt a stand alone system. Fuel pump=good, fuel pump relay=good, inertia switch=good, ignition switch=good.

The inertia switch could still be bad, I have seen many a one degrade accross the contact points, thats why they are still a parts bin item at ford. Short accross the plug and check your voltage again. also check voltage at the plug as that is fed directly from the relay.

RE: FUEL PUMP WONT COME ON
Ok I've figured it out. My car came from the factory with a 4 pin relay. I had to search 4 different parts stores before I found a 4 pin relay for a 91 mustang 5.0. Everyone just had 5 pin relays. I ended up buying 3 different 4 pin relays for my car thinking they must be defective before I tried one of the 5 pin ones. THE 5 PIN ONE WORKS! Sounds weird but its true, the one that came out of the car was 4 pin but only a 5 pin will work.
