Default 140 speedo swap

If i buy a 140 speedo for my 88 gt that has a 85mph speedo in it, How hard is it going to be to do this swap? Do you have to remove a bunch of stuff or its it a quick job. Also do i have to get it recalibrated or anything? thanks

IIRC its a "pull the bastard of a dash" project, but it does bolt right up and is plug-play, just a lot of work to get to the plugging/playing process. I love mine though, worth it PS, do the heater core at the same time!!!

I am not 100% sure, but like I said, if you have to pull the dash, set a weekend aside unless you are ASE and know EXACTLY whats up. Also do the heater core at that time, it will possibly save you a bad headach later.

Okay, then it shouldn't be bad. They plug up and work like it was made for it (it kinda was...)
