i have an 89 gt, i replaced the motor a while back. i cant get it to get fuel. ive replaced the pump twice, the relay,computer, sending unit,and the fuel lines tank to motor and still nothing. the pump will come on but not getting gas to the motor. i took the smog pump off when i replaced the engine for a few more ponys could this have something to do with my problem? im open to any suggestions, anyone would have. thanks..

Air pump has nothing to do w/ it. Have you checked the fuel pressure? Are you sure it's a fuel related problem?

Your not getting fuel pressure? or not getting fuel out of the injectors?

when i first tried to start it, it got fuel it jumped time and when i put it back i wasnt getting fuel.

If its not getting to the rails then make sure your fuel filter isnt plugged, fuel pickup screen isnt being blocked in the tank, and if its not turning on check the fuel cutoff switch in the hatch.

on the line going to the injectors there is a bleeder. i pushed the vavle in and no gas came out

the fuel cut off is crossed over like bypassed. and i replaced filter when i replaced the pump

Does the pump prime for 2 seconds when you hit the key?
