anything is possible with the right amount of money. why is an aftermarket block out of the picture? really high compression, alcohol, why not? it wouldnt be the most cost effective thing ever, but if you wanted you could get 500 horse out of 302 cubic inches. dont say its impossible. look at f1 cars, well over 1000 horse out of a n/a 3 liter.

a factory block will give way between 400-450hp, a Dart Block or similar can be built to withstand 1000hp, it's posible but very expensive, if someones trying to do this to prove a point all they're doing is proving they have a lot of money and no common sense! of course pump gas and any other stock parts aren't going to be in the mix...

ive seen on more than one occasion more than 500 horse, particularly a 93 cobra making 572, for more than 5 yrs, dont say its going to break over 450 horse, some are lucky some arent

did that 93 cobra have the stock block... and was it ever run in the 5 years it had 572hp... like how many miles did the have behind hte setup... and was its pushed to it max???
