Default C&L intake tubes

I am converting to MAF and was looking to get a C&L intake tube...are the worth the cash? I will be runing 24lb injectors in the future, but right now I am running the 19lb ones. I was interested in this tube cus you can change it yourself with sample tubes. Do they work well? Will a stock MAF sensor work find on a moded motor? Thanks

idk about 5.0s but when i put a c/l on my mark set for 24 lbs, it just messed up the fuel delivery. the sampling tubes are easy enough to swap, but you just gotta make sure you clock the maf so the car is happy. 5.0s seem to be responsive to the proper maf, so i say go for it.

C&L has a pretty bad rep on the internet.
While you will find many who post issues with C&L, there are more people out there who don't have any issues with them.

Make sure the sample tube is correct, by measuring the diameter, especially if you buy one used. C&L does not publish the diameters but I have listed most of them on my site.

C&L does retain the stock MAS sensor.

ProM/Pmas seems to be more respected, but some say the new company lacks the quality of the old stuff.

I have used a C&L for 10yrs with no issues, even when doing all the things your not supposed to do.

Thanks guys. Will the stock meter be okay on a moded engine?

Can't speak on the C&L MAFs, but I do like my C&L inlet tube. Looks good. Gives better performance than a standard cai. Nice bung to mount a n2o nozzle. Definetely worth the $$$ over a regular cai, IMO.

I just want the tube anyways, not the MAF. I want to run a stock MAF for now....it will be fine right or should I upgrade the MAF sensor as well?

Depends on your mods. A stock one will work decently with mods, but I would go ahead and upgrade it.

Go ahead and upgrade it...The stock one will work. I have the stock one with H/C/I, full bolt-ons and exhaust. Puts out 278 rwhp.
