has anyone ever ported and polished the stock 86 heads and what was the gain

you have done it or are u guessing cause i m tryin to find the cheapest way to make power and if i can get a good amount of hp from a p and p then i will

A used pair of GT40's will be a HUGE upgrade for you and won't be more than ~300....

I would check PTV clearance first, but they should be fine w/ the stock cam.
