I be damned! If I had the money, I'd buy a car like that because it's fast as hell and no other reason. It could be called the PintoFiatYugoSedan, if it looked like the C6 Z or the GT, I'd be big pimpin it fo sho. And the feel I'd get when behind the wheel is WWWWHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Shelby is okay, I think it's over rated and very heavy. Rather get a new Z06 or an 03/04 Cobra. Just my .02.

Heavy? Yes. Over rated? No. Tuner here just coaxed 493 to the tires from one bone stock. Would I rather have a Z06? Yup.

in my town the ford dealer sold it for 68k....an i live in a really small town....but i say just go with an 07 GT and put maybe 30k into it for performance...and you'll be smoking the gt-500...haha

If I was spending $60k on a car, I wouldn't buy something that weighs almost the same as a full size truck. They should have put the GT500 on a diet when they built it...It weighs almost 2 tons!!! The Z06 weighs closer to 3k and has same power N/A. I know it's not a Ford and you guys will talk chit about it b/c of that, but the fact is, Chevy has had more car/power for the money for a while now.... They shot themselves in the foot by dropping the F-bodies and going w/ the GTO. Ford was stupid and disbanded SVT, so now they don't really have anything at all that's unique and fast other than the new Shelby. Ford lost a lot of my respect when they canned SVT....guess I'm still bitter.

I work at a Ford dealership, and rode in the new Shelby. Don't buy!!!! My head was hitting the roof of the car over every bump in town, and I'm only 6 1. For power, it had power but the 03 04 terminators ran just as good. Go out and buy an 03 04 cobra for 20k, put a pulley on it, CAI, exhaust and tune and smoke the new shelby like it was a pinto. In my opinion obviously the shelby is overrated. They aren't going to be a rare car, they made less 03 04 cobras combined then they will make 07 shelbys. Then they have two more years after that of making another 8000 per year. For me terminators or fox body all the way!!!!!
