Default 500 Hp Chasis Strengthening

I've got a 65 that I should be putting down a lil less than 500 hp to the crank in. I've got a 4point cage and a solid body. What kind of strengthening do i need to do to this unibody for it to be safe and not twist? Any other chasis mods I should do? Subframes? Torque Boxes? Drive shaft safety loop? I want to make sure I get this project right the first time. Thanks guys

Definetly torque boxes... and Im pretty sure the DS loop doesnt do anything but hold your DS in for safety purposes for the track.

If you run slicks at all, no matter what speed, at the track they wont let you run unless you have a driveshaft safety loop.

Hmm..... never knew that. You dont have to take the DS out to install one right? The top slide over it and than the look just goes around the DS right?

yea, but a good safety item for less than a $100 bucks, no need for that to relocate into your rear!
