I have a 1990 gt 5.0 AOD. My friend and I were discussing my engine the other day, and he was asking me questions that I couldnt answer, and I felt kinda stupid for not knowing my own engine. I was wondering what camshaft came stock, the rear gears that came stock, and the compression ratio (what it should be without any engine problems). I am sure there is someone that can help me. Thanks in advance.

Your gear ratio depends on what it came with from the factory. I could either be... 2.73's, 3.08's or 3.27's. Check your door tag for ax code I believe thats it...

Also, stock compressio should be 9:1 (almost positive) and do you want to know the numbers of the stock cam? Theres no real name for it if thats what your asking....

A stock cam is a stock cam.... no real name for it as far as I know.
