I would stay w/ 3.55's if you're going to run boost. 4.10 or 3.73 for N/A.

Yeah 3:55's really are perfect especially if you daily drive your car. Still get good top end and still jumps off the line nicely without running out of gear too fast or baking the tires.

i run 3.73's with a tko and a lot of power....if i where you i'd do 4.10's or 3.90's....at least 3.73


go post this in the pipes,boost section and ask people who actually HAVE close to the horsepower you're looking for OR search....most people with centris in the 4-500whp range wish they went with taller gears (usually 4.10s)

yea i agree with turbo stang.. 3.55 is kinda high... now granted if its a dd and it willl never see the track the who cares you kno... but off the line 3.73 with boost wont be as bad as u think... and if u got a good suspesion and u can shift well then 4.10 would be even better... i myself will be goin 3.73 and upgrading my rims to 18inch so that way ill have a slitly larger tire to help with my top speed... wont help to much tho... plus i just like the rims but bak to supsect... if its a track car reconsider3.73 at least... if u can get ahold of a 400hp car with 3.73 just to test drive... like a friends or co-work then do it... its got more first gear than u think... gl ether way tho

on a S/C 3.27-3.55 is a great choice to eleminate any chance for over rev;in the S/C.. and keep first gear mutiplier under 12.

Why is that? Just wondering because I have a set of 3.90's and I plan on going for a SC when my suspension is done and some few other small things. Alot of people have told me that they arent going to be good on the street w/ my blower and I kind of agreed with them at first because when I got the gears I didnt plan on a SC. Im just wondering why you say this? School me.... lol
