Hello everyone.
I'm brand new and was hoping someone could help me out. I want to buy a 5.0 fox body. I found a 1987 convert that was a 4anger but is now a 5.0 with a stick. When i put the top down the motor reved up. also when i went to go drive it and put the headlights on the engine went weird and even stalled out. The guy said he just put a brand new alternator in it and it does look brand new. This has to be an electrical problem right? The headlights also do a very very minor blink at idil. The engine runs great at idil though. sound smooth and the clutched seemed a little hard he said it's a T-5 tranny. is there anything i should look for further? The body only has 60k on it ( speedo didn't turn over). Interor is good i want a project and this is only 750 bucks what do you think? Thanks you so much for any help.
