You will have to have your pistons flycut for clearance. You will also need to replace/upgrade your valvesprings. I will tell you this, if you are running stock or small aftermarket replacement heads, and a stock or smaller aftermarket intake, this cam is worthless to you, and you will be better with likely an E cam. E cams are good with 5 speed cars, and HAve a good powerband for a stockish motor. I am running Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads, a Holley Systemax Intake, and the X Cam. For my setup it is very good.

because you will have no lower end, the cam wouldnt match the airflow your getting from everything else and you would be going nowhere until like 3500 rpm, now if you build everything else up too then ya itd be a good one for ya

I'll agree with the others here. Unless you upgrade your heads, you're going to see very minimal gains from any cam upgrade and, with the 86, your pistons will need to be notched or replaced for valve clearance.
