Default My car is too quiet!

First of all, I'm not looking for loud dumps or a REALLY loud exhaust system, but just something that's a little louder and meatier. My current exhaust setup is: JBA shorties, high flow catted H (which I'm going to swap out for a O/R X), Steeda catback. After I switch to the X, can I just install different mufflers?

If you want to hear what my exhaust sounds like, click on the vid in my sig and go towards the end.

or just go to an offroad h for a deeper tone ... but yes you can swap mufflers to what ever you prefer... and yes SLP's are loud!

So from what I've heard, Flowmasters suck so that should be a no go. What about Dynomax? They are pretty cheap.

Sorry, I read your post quick and I thought it said I want " a REALLY loud exhaust system" lol my bad. But anyway, you can go with a SLP LM II. Which is about an average exhaust and sounds really good and deep.

Nothing wrong with Flows at all. That's what I run coupled to an o/r H and 1 5/8" headers.
Here's what mine sounds like. One of these days, I believe the entire Internet is going to see this vid.

Well you could go LM II, they sound pretty good.. but kinda off topic, was that a Cop Detector in the vid? if so, do they actually work?

They are "radar" detectors. And yes, if you get a good one they do work.

That is a $50 Radioshack radar detector, so it's not the best but it still does it's job well. Since I already have a catback, can I just add the mufflers that are used in the LMII, or do I need the whole system?
