Default File Fitting Piston Rings

Hey could someone fill me in on how you exactly file the rings? Do you use a flat file or do you need some kind of tool.

DONT FILE THEM

they are already checked for you Digitally in a 4.000 bore etc, before its put in the box to specs. when you file, you create blowby, only good for superchargers, Ive tested alot in rebuilds, just put em on the rings and go, this is a old method that becoming useless in todays advancements.

you don't put them in and go you get the ring gaps.....I check 3-5 spots on every cyl for ring clearance and I make sure every ring has the same gap..ie all top rings are the same etc....
