Well, you could start by taking out the 3.55's & putting the 2.73's back in, then putting the 1.6 rockers back in aswell as the stock cam. Looks to me like you're building the car for performance, not for mileage.

Forget miles to the gallon
I'm running gallons to the mile.

What else d ya'll suggest i do to improve my mileage??
I'd suggest selling the 5.0 V8 Mustang and buying a Prius Hybrid.

If you're worried about gas mileage, you're driving the wrong vehicle
Come on fellas, there is no need to flame here lol. He is trying to use his gas mileage issue to diagnose a problem with his motor. I know I don't want to stop twice a day for gas, do you? [:@]

It doesnt matter if your building a performance vehicle or not... you still want to try your absolute hardest to maintain decent gas mileage. If you dont, your either rich or your retarted... you pick. Its one or the other!

A little over 17 in mixed driving, and 25+ strictly highway. And of course you should worry about your gas mileage--it gives you an idea of how your motor is running. Also, in general, it makes sense to try to get the best mileage possible...even when a WOT!
