Not really... you will not get that much power out of it but it will definetly make your car sound better. My friend has a B cam that hes been trying to sell me for quite some time now.... after these past few days of cam talk and hearing b cams in 5.0's I might just buy it off of him and throw it in there with a set of rockers and do my manifold at the same time...

you will only increase maybe like 5 hp not nothing intense until you do the heads ...most people who do it with the stock heads do it purely for the sound

in my opinion, i dont think its worth it to rip the front of your motor apart and NOT do a complete HCI swap

I was thinking about that last night. It's funny how our cars aren't that responsive to just a cam swap. When I was in high school, my buddy put a PepBoys cam (Edelbrock, probably) into his 73-74 Nova. It made a huge difference. Then, he bought a carb from PepBoys, and got another huge gain in power. I was amazed. Plus, the car sounded awesome at idle and WOT. This was with a completely stock exhaust, by the way.

If your short on cash, or you've got a goal such as seeing how fast you can go on stock heads sure its worth it. I'm sure that it's worth a SOTP feeling.
