They seem to be pretty about about this kind of stuff....

Ok well since your questions are answered lol.... what does everyone think about the nexus gauges? Too ricey? If not, Im just going to go with ultralites. I think the Nexus's will look good though since my cars going to be all black and red. i can set it for a red background with red lettering.

But when mounted outside don't you have problems with either people stealing em, and does rain and stuff hurt the gauges? Its seems to me it would be better to keep em inside (just make sure your lines are tight!!)
No, rain isn't going to mess with them. They are tighly sealed. As for people stealing them, haven't heard anything about that. Guess it's possible though. I plan on running a CGC cowl panel likes this:
I was going to get one of those for my coupe they look sweet . was going ot mount a fuel , and get a nitor ouse press gauge for them

Go electric, no worries
is it cool to go with a mechanical boost? since there's no fluid involved...

As far as I know, that's the only type there is. It's just a vacuum line hook up.

hey guys, seeing as i'm sending mine back... I have never installed, much less uninstalled, these liquid filled gauges. How do you go about doing it.. The person from autometer said that the water temp gauge has some kind of gas in one of the lines so i can't just cut it.. i have to roll it up. Can someone just walk me through the removal of these two gauges(oil and water, liquid filled). I know its dumb.. but hey.. don't wanna mess the gauges up even more.. thanks
