pound for pound nothing makes more power than a turbo. its gental on the rotaing assembly and free hp as it does not have any parasatic loss to spin it. thats why 20-23 hp/psi is common. compare to 11hp/psi for a roots blower or 8-9hp/psi for a centrifical blower. no belts to slip, no crank snouts to snap, no bottles to fill. best part is modern turbo designs that are proper size there is no turbo lagg.

I NEED ONE !

Hopefully i get some money from a carwreck from last february. We got all the paper work turned in, just gotta wait for an offer, and tell them i want more. And hopefully a check comes to me soon. I'll pay off my car and my bike and my credit card. That way i'll have some money left over still, and a credit card with a 0 $ balance, i could do something pretty wicked with 3-4 G's. Man, i'm gonna be dreamin up some sweet stuff tonite, now that i got this idea i my head.

I wouldn't say it needs a turbo, the turbo doesn't signify ricer or import cars, its just the most effiecient form of forced induction, think of it as a "modern blower "...LOL

"rice" is an attitude, it is a rediculous attitude where you think a stock 4 cyl is faster than a stock 8 cyl. So if you put NOS on your motor then you are "rice" too huh? A turbo is not "rice"! There are a lot of professional drag racers who run turbo set-ups. As stated, there is no parasitic loss which means less strain on the motor which means you can run more power through it before you blow the motor up. You are no considered "rice" if you realize that a properly set-up turbo will always out perform a supercharger in every aspect, you are smart and going after power and speed.
