Default RE: Cobra Intake manifolds

I just installed one in my H/C/I project. It runs like a raped ape with no loss of bottom end at all. Quite the opposite in fact. One major problem however: The Cobra manifolds currently being sold new are made in China at the same factory that the Perfomance Products ones are. After the install, my car started consuming oil at a quart every 100 miles. The FRPP tech line said it was a known issue and supplied me with a new baffle to install, along with a new gasket set at no charge. I just had the baffle installed on the lower today. I'll report back with results.
