its a good upgrade from a stock manifold, the explorer/gt40 intake are also good upgrades for minimal spending but if your looking to buy one from a magazine spend a few hundred more and get a holley, trickflow, or edelbrock...jmo

i love mine.... im so glad my car came with it from tha factory.

Im thinking about getting it ported a bit and continuing to use it. The cobra manifolds produce very high tq numbers due to the length of the runners, and their shape. the Tubular GT-40 is comparable with most aftermerket intakes

Cobra's are good, definetly a very nice upgrade form stock, but if your buying them new its better to spend the extra hundred and get the Trickflow.

Definate improvement over stock and you'll make better use if you have H/C. Check past issue mags, they've done a few dyno comparo's. Cobra (GT-40) perform very well for stock and mild street driven cars. Once you get into the bigger ports, you'll start to trade off low end torque. So it's important to know what kinda of car you want to build or intend to use it as.

You'll definatly notice some gains, but it might actually hurt your bottem end a bit, but not much.

I have one and it still has plenty of torque from 2,000 or so rpm and it pulls all the way to redline. Here's a pic.
