Default motor going wacky
hello, my 5.0 goes wacky when i either put the lights on or lower the convert top. it revs up like an animal then stalls out. Any ideas i know the alt is new? i just bougth the car. thaNks guys

Sounds like you have ground problem. Check and clean all chassis grounds and battery terminals.

Thanks I kinda thought that was it. The previous owner said it has never done that before. Sometimes it won't even start right up after it stalls i forgot to mention that.

yeah ground problem or your wires going to your silenoid could possibly be going bad? check your connections!
