Default GT-40 SVO Crate Motor

Alright guys, bare with me, I'm new to Mustangs and 5.0 engines and just need some basic questions answered. I'm a Chevy guy, but took this project on to honor a fallen friend. I just bought a 91 Mustang GT and swapped the engine to a Ford Racing 302 GT-40 SVO 345hp crate motor. Honestly I don't know to much about this motor, it was given to me at a cheap price by a friend with 27,000 miles on it and I know it was treated well, and I just added as much bolt on stuff as I could just from overall engine knowledge, but don't really know where to go from here.

The Mods include, but are not limited to(kinda bought the car cold turkey from a buddy so I only know of what he told me and I have paperwork of besides what I did myself):

-Power Master 1 wire Alternator

-Moroso Overflow Tank
-Cobra (Blue) Pulleys

Exterior
-Cobra R Cowl Hood
-Cobra Rear Bumper
-Stalker Front End

-Steeda Oval

Interior
-White Gauge Insert
-Sony Explode Head Unit
-Pioneer Speakers all around
-Steeda Billet A/C Controls
-Black Rear Carpeting
-Grey Front Interior
-Stabilizer Bar

What else do you guys think I should invest in to make this a beast. It is a tribute car for my friend who just passed March 4th so I wanna go all out and make it bad ***. What more can I do to this engine and what do I need to modify to do the modification. Thanks for any advice you guys could give me, I will appreciate any and all replies. Check the full car out at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2476042.

NO DAMMIT NO! Have a motor built for you. I got a crate motor and am unimpressed. the FRPP motors do okay, but its still a rip-off compared to what you could have built for the same $$.

Welcome, your car is beautiful bro! The FRPP's aren't the biggest bangs for the buck but the previous owner took the hit on that motor, not you! But as for being similar to a stock 5.0 HO, your not even close... your way ahead of a stock 5.0 HO! Props, very nice car!

Thanks guys for your comments, but I really need help on where to go from here, I listed all that's been done to it, but dont' really know what else to do to it. I mean, hit it up guys, I need your experience on your cars, everywhere from the engine to the driveline to the suspension, etc.

Built 8.8, Maximum Motorsports (rode in one of my friends cars that has THE FULL MM package...DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it outhandled ANYTHING I have ridden in before, including S2K's and SRT4's), T56, KeithCraft 331 with a Vortech.

There you go, no expenses spaired.

MM smaller (not full) kit, TKO500, Keith Craft budget 331 built using the 302 heads they normally use on the 302 motor...still good hp, but only $3-500 more or so than their 302s. www.keithcraftracing.com

PS, car looks great!

Stanger88,
Thanks for the idea bro, I already threw on an 8.8 rear end and I agree with you. I am only 20 years old and in college and basically emptied my bank account on this car already. I only threw the FR Crate Motor in it cause my friend gave it to me for 500 with 27,000 miles on it, and then threw as many bolt on upgrades I could outta past automotive basic experience, but I don't know where to go on horses or driveline on this on a budget. I wanna spend all I can on this car, but there's no way I can afford another motor, as of now this car's pumping out 270rwhp on the dyno.

6 psi blower.. dont push the boost too much though cause the crate motors have hyperutecnic(sp?) pistons wich burn up easier then forged. whats your timming at? easy way out would probablybe a 75-100hp shot nitrous
