The only place that carries it is a local speed shop and lots of times they are out of stock. Autozone, Advanced, etc. doesnt carry it. Sucks.

Adding a quart of oil every thousand miles doesnt suck?
Thanks for all the replies fellas. Well, when I say that mine uses a quart every thousand miles (which it doesn't anymore), I don't mean that I have to add a quart every thousand miles. It's just that that's how much it uses. If I run it till the light comes on (which I never do), I would have to add like a quart and a half every 1600 miles. But again, my car uses less than 1 quart per 1k since I switched to Valvoline Maxlife. Thanks again folks.

To recapture the original topic (), I've heard some people (always mechanics) go so far as to say that motors that use a bit of oil up top will last longer than their non oil-burning counterparts, due to better piston ring/cylinder and valve guide lubrication. I don't know about all that; although it makes a certain amount of sense...I guess. I just hope to be able to put 200k miles on my motor.

Oh, also, the Ford mechanics I've talked to about the subject have said that some of these cars burned 1 qt. per 1500 miles right off of the showroom floor, while some cars have never used a drop. Crazy.

LOL. No I'm not saying that. I've just heard more than 5 mechanics say this. I'd feel better if I had your motor.
