Default Just came back from the track

Went to Englishtown, MY this weekend and decided to run my stock 5.0 for some odd reason or another to see if my shifting was up to par. For kicks I brought my M/T DR's and stripped my car of any excess weight including my pass seat ( just picture a pile of stuff in my garage right now). Anyway I dont have my time slip on my at the moment but I ran a 13.96 @ 98 my very first run, launching the car at 3k and hoping for some grip. After that first run my car kinda slagged and I ran at best a 15.26 @ 84 I think compared to the time a stock should run I did pretty well.

BTW, my u-joints snapped at the start of my 4th run thank god I got that aluminum d/s sitting in my garage too.

in stock form with maybe a few things your looking at 14.40's at best.. the 98 mph is in the mid-upper 14"s
I have ran a 13.78 at over 107 "mostly" stock and that's pulling out all my tricks!

god i wish I had a scanner.... R/T was .363 my first run. im still trying to figure out if it was just the d/s keeping me from getting other good runs or was it something else I blew. Car is bogging like a mother now.

I really would like to know what you consider stock? Im having a hard time believe that a stock vert ran 14's with 2.73's.... Im not calling you a liar or anything I just want to know what exactally you have done to your car.

hmmmmmm..... thats a little more believable. I thought you were saying BONE STOCK motor. Its hard to understand people because everyone has a deffinition of a stock car. I consider stock FACTORY lol But still, those are really good times. Congrad's,
