mine are dumped right after the mufflers. they sound awsome, and i can feel the car vibrate because of how loud it is.
i dumped mine because my tail pipes were off somehow... they started to melt the plastic sheild around my fuel tank so i just chopped them off!
also, they are quiet enough at idle to be lined up next to a cop at a red light w/o them noticing

Mine turn down just after the muffs too, flowmaster 2 chambers, and they sound good. Especially at idle, you can really hear the cam, and the one I have is mild. I like the sound better than pipes. I may change my mind when I get my BBK shorties and O/R h-pipe.

RE: dumped mufflers
you should definately dump your mufflers. I have bbk shorties, bbk o?r h pipe and two american thunder flows dumped right before my rear axle and i love the sound. It is much louder and deeper because the sound echos between the bottom of your car and the ground. you will also "feel" your car more when your mufflers are under the car. It's easier also...you don't have to deal with the axle.
