Is anyone running dummped mufflers. i was curious on the differnce in sound between tailpipes and dumps.

One of my tailpipes rattled off when I was going down the road one time. It came off right after the muffler (Bad weld) and boy did it get loud. It was WAY louder, and it was only one side. Not saying that it was bad sounding or anything. I kinda wanted to take off the other one, since I'm having problems with them anyways, but my brother was like "cmon, don't be gay..." since I daily drive mine so I don't think that would fly well with the police around town. Sure did sound racey though...

dumps are much louder, jeffutica has both setups for his car and he puts the dumps on for the track and the tailpipes on for show, lemme tell ya what those dumps resonate loud and make heads turns when you drive by vs. tails... but i still prefer the tone the tails make, but jmo

mine are dumped right after the mufflers. they sound awsome, and i can feel the car vibrate because of how loud it is.

i dumped mine because my tail pipes were off somehow... they started to melt the plastic sheild around my fuel tank so i just chopped them off!

also, they are quiet enough at idle to be lined up next to a cop at a red light w/o them noticing

I have dumps, they are really loud, almost too loud But i have never had a problem with the police, people just freak out when you drive past them in the neighborhood. They think your doing like 50 when your doing 15! I do however get i little bit of fumes in the car at a red light

I have dump and they sound sweet . pull up next to a ricer it sound like a stock 5.0 light turn green away i go LOL they didnt expect to hear that
