KYB AGX or Edelbrock IAS

KYB AGX or Edelbrock IAS
thinking about coughing up the money for some nice shocks/struts. the KYB AGX's look like the best bang for the buck (besides the lakewoods which are non adjustable)
my car right now is a daily driver but i do everything with it. i take it to the track and i drive it hard on the street so having the ability to adjust is nice.
the other shocks i was lookin at are the edelbrock IAS shocks that automaticaly adjust to road conditions.
anyone with either of these please comment and list your setup.
by the way.. i will be adding summit upper and lowers to the rear so i think the combination of nice control arms and shocks will really make this car handle on rails

I have always been partial to KYB's but thats the road racer in me. I guess wait for the long time foxers and see what they sayas its been a long time since I've owned a Fox, But you will be better off with an adjustable unit

After talking w/ Matt at Maximum Motorsports, I wouldn't recommend adjustables for a daily driver unless you really plan to see a decent amount of track time. If that's the route you decide to go, check out seller jdmwerks on ebay. They have great prices on shocks/struts. Tokico HP's are 235 shipped and the Illuminas were 425 shipped. I would go w/ Tokico over the KYB b/c of the differnces in ride quality I've heard between the 2.

Worth the hassle of adjusting them? It only takes like two mintues.....
I hope my car rides OK... Im going to be running Strange 10 ways all around with a D&D front coil over. Its not a DD and it will see a decent amount of track time but I still want it to be a decent ride... these b*tches better be good!

If it's not that much trouble, then I stand corrected. I was going by what Maximum Motorsports told me. They said for a daily w/ little track time, Tokico HP's or Bilsteins would be better.

Ohh OK. Well, I definetly plan on dialing in the suspension for the street and KNOWING the adjustments for the track so when I do go I will be able to adjust them fairly easy. On the paper that comes with the shocks it says what each setting should be used for... 2-3 drag racing 3-4 street cruising, etc. I dont think they should be too much of a pain but I dont plan on adjusting them every week... I just want to get two good settings... street and track.
