HELP. Problem starting up.
Im still new to mustangs. Recently the car has been having a hard time starting up. I have to crank it more and then the motor will gradually turn over. If not I just hear a quiet clicking sound and the rpms jump to 2k or so. This has been going on for almost a month until today. Now the car wont start. The motor doesnt turn over at all. Just hear that clicking sound.
Bad starter? or worse? Help. I dont want to take the bus to school. Any help appreciated.

RE: HELP. Problem starting up.
check your ground cable on your battery and like PRO50SC said what if you are jumping it? even then a bad ground can cause you not to start. if all thats good just take a hammer to your starter to see if it works a little better beating on things of that nature seems to work. like i seen done to a computer once. car had an electrical problem, changed the computer and hit the other with a hammer a couple times, had the same trouble again a day or so later then said **** it and put the old one in and never had a problem since. a little off subject i know but still.
