Default HELP PLEASE!!!

just bought a 95 GT 53000 mi. ford motor sport super charger (6 psi). it ran great yesterday, but today after i was driving it it, i noticed the coolant running cold and the oil running hot and im getting a wretched clunking that i fear matches up with the engine and could be a piston...when i opened the hood it smelled like burning oil and was kind of hot...the car wasnt a daily driver with the previous owner...could this just be it getting used to my driving or should i just fling it and my self off a cliff.. kinda agrivating when you blow 2 years of pay along with your life savings on your first car ever to have it blow up a day later[:@][:@] if anyone has any idea what the problem is please let me know. its running synthetic oil and it didn't seem to be down on any fluids. the sound seems to be the loudest when applying acceleration but is pretty quiet during idle or no throttle.

thanks

was the temp gauge showing that the car was over heating. and can you tell were the noise is coming from. are you leaking any antifreeze or can you smell it buring any.

temp gauge doesnt read in num. but it read at the L in normal. i think the sound is coming from the passenger side towards the end closest to the passenger compartment in the engine block...i dont think it was buring anti freeze

other than the noise and the cold anit hosesis the car running ok no missfires or anything else out of the ordinary. sounds like your not circulating coolant. double check the noise and see if it might be the water pump. when the bearings go the make some nasty sounds. other than that hard to tell without actually hearing the car

Your problem could be as simple as an exhaust leak or a broken rocker arm. But the worse case scenario is that you spun a bearing. You need to check it all out.
