Yes there are tons of them, recently our State Troopers Barracks in Marcy, NY had a 5.0L patrol car, it was in mint shape, i think it was just there cause it does fair duty and parades and such, but i believe almost every state had/has them!

Good question...and maybe you woudn't want to read it. The SSP 5.0 wasn't too different from the standard 5.0--in fact, in terms of performance and durability, it was identical. I enjoyed reading the anecdotes about the cops' experiences with our cars regarding these two things. To each his own though.

Also, I've always liked the idea of cops driving 5.0s--call me silly.
