Can't use nitrous under 3000 RPM?
Why does everyone say that I can't use my nitrous under 3000 RPM? I mean, that's when i really need it! Once I'm over 3000 RPM my S/C kicks in anyway. I need something to get me up to 3000 RPM! Can't I hit my wetshot at launch from teh tree and just get off it when I hit 3k RPM"? That's what this guy seems to be doing in his car and I don't see a problem!
Here's a link to a video of what I mean, proving that it can be done!

The kids filming it were a bit harsh, but the video itself was pretty good. Feel bad for the guy, but wow..what was he thinking? Either that or he did indeed have a window switch that somehow malfunctioned.

usually thats when you have enuff fuelmixture ya wont have a melt down..you can usue it lower rpm but with out the fuel you will get to much heat and melt somthing...maybe not first time out but u will soon..wot at line is good as long as you getthe rpms up high enuff b4 you spray..

well first off something is wrong with the car as an s/c pulls hard from idle..mine do...you could use the nitrous in a intercooler for more safer horsepower..also you could use a 2 step or even a progressive system

have never been a fan of nitrous. Its an old saying but, "using nitrous is like wanting to bang a hot chick that has std's, you really want to tap it but your afraid of the results.

I would think with a wet kit you'd be okay with a small shot since the fuel you need is sprayed in with the nitrous anyou don't have to rely on the computer to add the extra fuel like with a dry kit.
