There is no reason to leave free cubic inches on the table. I'd do the 347.

When you're ready check with me on some kit prices. I can get them for you cheap.

347 with boost on stock block will split eventually.

do a 357W...... can build it cheaper and will be MUCH stronger in the long run.

an s/c will take a little custom bracket work probably, but shouldnt be hard to do.

Hood clearance on an EFI 357 is the only real headache.

Im about to purchase one of these and cant make my mind up. I eventually want to blow it so take that into consideration. Whats the major difference and which route should I go?
the difference is a 331 uses a 3.25" stroke crank, and the 347 uses a 3.4" stroke crank
the 347 will make more power because there is no replacement for displacement.

i have plans similar to ones u have... i was thinking a dart block bored at 4.125 with a 347 stroker set up for 363 like silver said.... i was then goin to slap a 2.2 kenne bell on it and enjoy the lack of traction thru all my gears lol... plus that much torque would make the ricers around here cry lol
