Default should i put $ in my stang???

i was under my car today and noticed all the rust underneath the car...are your 5.0s like this or no? and should i even bother puttin $ in to it or what

Not everyones it depends hows it kept etc garage kept, out in the driveway under a tree... If the person drove it thru puddles and parked the car in a cold dark place...I'd say do what you wanna do.. if you wanna be rust free, well good luck

It depends on climate also. I live in a very dry place....so no rust!!!!!!!!

Mine isnt rusty underneath, just around the wheels and the hatch and lower 1/4 panels. Its getting fixed soon.

Well how bad is it ?Are you starting to get holes there?Because if your starting to get holes and its not surface rust I wuoldn't put anymore money into it....Good Luck

im pretty sure hes talking about under hatch rust which is extremely common

my car was garaged and even has rust under the hatch

its a new england car so it saw some climate shifts but none the less it was babied (UNTILL I GOT IT!!! [8D])

My car is a Southern Cali car, yet has a blister or two in the paint, and a coating of surface rust under the rear bumper cover. The two shock absorbers in the bumper, and the area where the bumper connects to the frame have this rust coating. I wish it didn't, but it does. I think the car may have lived near the ocean at some point.
