My Hatch latch rattled like crazy. 5.0 Resto to the rescue. The latch bolt was missing the plastic on it. New one in and no more hatch rattle.

as for the hood, what someone already said will help and also, its fiberglass... can we say hood pins? lol thats what i would do.they have some that mount flush so you cant really seem em as well.<thats a matter of what you like tho as far as cosmetics.

I think all old 5.0's with a decent amount of miles on them are bumpy... mines not TOO bad but my 88 was HORRIBLE. Every time I hit a bump I would look into my rear view to make sure nothing fell off [8D]

Subframe connecters will usually get rid of a lot of Chassis rattles. Not to mention, they are a great mod.

Niether am I... Going 90mph down the highway, and then your hood pops up; makes you like hood pins REAL fast. Good thing the Safty Latch cought it...
