Driving the mustang last night... and besides the brake problem...

Every time I go over a bump, the car rattles like a POS. Its noisy as hell, and
my car feels like a crapstang.

What are common mustang noise spots and how can I quet them?

Where can all this noise be comming from?

I have a fiberglass hood that seems to rattle alot and slam when I go over bumps. How can I fix this?

mine rattles too, but its been sitting on stock suspension for what, 16 years? plus many parts and panels come loose after years of bumps, turns and vibrations. i think its normal

yep stock suspension...

I can redo the shocks. That's like 200 bucks in parts right?

but I want to look in other places to solve this rattle...

I dont think shocks are going to stop this noise....am i wrong?

if i were you i would just crawl under and look....one time i was coming down the highway and went to make a left turn and i herd a bang and it seemed like i ran somthing over and ever since my car rattles like hell over the slightest bump so i looked under mine and saw that the one bracket broke that hold my front sway bar in place.....so more or less what im trying to get at is before you spend money just give a good look down

Mine doest rattle too bad, but it seems like they pop up as quick as I can fix them. Check all the hardware and screws in the interior, mine was missing a boatload when I got it. The only thing that rattles now are the doors, and I am convinced I will need new strikers and hinges to tighten them up. But hey, one thing at a time. As far as your hood, make sure it is closing all the way and the release mechanism is adjusted properly, you have to do that when you replace the hood, it should not rattle or move at all when shut completely, try to adjust the rubber stops up on each side of the front end, that may help make a tighter fit.

that happened to me too...sway bar end link snapped....going over RR tracks

Got new ones after that

I agree with whitelighting you need to go under there and look around it could be anything.They all rattle alittle when you hit bumps.Good luck

Mine rattles like CRAZY, especially the passanger side door. And if you have a sub (Like my little 10 inch) it will makes things go south twice as bad. I have to do a "walk through" with my car about one a month to make sure screws are tight.

mine rattels too but i have all sheat metal covering where the rear seat back use to be and where the spare tire sits is all cut out and made bigger for fuel cell and roll cage. Seam sealer on sealms and soem dyno mat helps
