stage one cam. i've been in cars with both the e cam and the stage one and both had other mods but i felt that the stage one was better. of course different cars have different mods so different feels but i liked it better anyway.

would the stage one cam be any better w/ the 1.6 or 1.7 rockers?? is there any real power differnce between the two??

well 1st the stage 1 cam( i believe crane still makes it) won't pass a sniffer test....as for the difference the stage 1 will work better with the heads as it's a daul pattern cam......now if you have the sad but decent abc cam you could just put some 1.7's on the exhaust for more power. now if you don't mind used low miles cams I can help you I also have a new in box e-cam if that what you need

Kwik, you said the stage one will not pass a sniffer test.

2 questions:
Out of curiosity, what state sniffer test would that be? I am in MD and have this cam in a 331 and have to do emissions in December.
AND
I have heard of people running 1.6 and 1.7 to try and bring the intake and exhaust inline. Would this help the Stage one pass emissions?

I would think if you put bigger ratio rockers on a cam that would already fail emission would only make it worse?? In any case, I don't see why the Stage 1 cam would fail if it is so close in profile to the E-303 cam which is emissions legal?
