Mustang.
Mitsubishi's are very unreliable and break alot, especially the turbo awd ones.

Thats really only true if you modify and beat on them. I dont see why stock ones driven normally shouldnt run for a long time...

Definitely go with the Mustang though

I worked at Mitsubishi and at Ford and i would definately stay with the stang, WAYYYYYY cheaper to build than a 3k gt. If you want cams they have 4, 1000 bucks gone already. Everything is expensive on them, not to mention the electronic heater controls going out will create big headaches for you.

I would rather have a tt 5.0, but I still think the vr4s are badass... I would take one if I wasn't so against owning an import.

Well, im not gonna say theyr not nice cars. They look good, they are in the 13's stock, and not too hard to do some minor mods on to make fast. However if you pop the hood your going to hope nothing ever breaks(and stuff WILL break, theyr not reliable)your gonna have one hell of a time fixing it. Also, mods for that car are rediculously expensive. Headers will run you 600 dollars. About 700 for a catback. Theyr bank breakers. Take it to a shop and it will be rediculous to fix too. Also, theyr very heavy just cuz they had every feature imaginable on them when they came out. Id go for the stang and put money into it.

Who comes in a 5.0 mustang section of a mustang forum asking if we would rather have a 5.0 or a mitsubishi? Am I missing something hear or did I take too many drugs?

Don't get me wrong, the VR4 is a nice car. They have the same problem as the RX7's. They were bought to be ridden hard and the fast majority of them were. At 80,000 miles, the motor is going to need a rebuild soon. They are nice cars but just imagine the sound of a strong lopey V8 with the LOUD whistle of two good lookin turbo's under the hood. They just aren't going to have a chance.
