THe VR4 is a very quick car but was all wheel drive and is about as fast as you are going to make it without putting alot of money into it.... plus you have all wheel drive wear and tear and two turbos to worry about going bad

this was my buddies 3000... i REALLY enjoed working on it.... imagine getting down in there... it was horrible.
the car had that intake filter and a straight 3 inch exhaust and ran 13.40's all day long. It was a awsome car and very quik... but I would never own one just because I like working on my own stuff. And dont plan on going to Autozone to get parts for it... dealer only, and they have to order parts for it

has anyone mentioned the AWD tranny? I had a friend that was tech at dodge and he told me it was between 8 and 10k just to rebuild the tranny.

I owned a 3kgt a few years back. It was such a pain to work on and it cost so much I sold it and took a huge loss just to get rid of it. I would never consider buying another 1 they are horrible. not to mention the aftermarket for them isn't that big. By the time u spend the cash to get the car running decent you could have made your stang run 12's easy maybe even 11's. 3kgt sucks i would never suggest anyone ever buys 1. yeah they look nice but thats about it. I spent 3k to get the trans rebuilt and then 2k miles later the oil pump siezed up and I blew the engine. yes I noticed the oil pressure drop but at the time I was doing about 120 when it happened. by that time I was able to stop it was too late. I sold the car as is for 1500 was the best thing I ever did...well besides buying my stang. lol

I love the way the 3000GTs look and having a vr-4 in there that would be great...Rare car

SO STANG ALL THE WAY. I know my stang is small but I still fit comfortably.
