Default What do you guys have for drag race setups? Suspension wise

I want to set my car up for drag, get the most out of the car w/ drag radials and a good suspension setup. I'm shooting for low 11's this spring w/ spray and I think I'll need all the help I can get. I plan on running 275/40/17 mt et drags out back, on weld wheels if money permits. But anyways, what are some ways to stiffen the chassis up and get the best launch possible?

nothing stiffens the body like a roll cage. im putting one in my car when i have some free time.....and when i can find a good deal on some tubes. $5 a foot with a 100foot min. purchase my a$$!!!! doesnt take 100 feet to cage a car.
subframes will help if you dont want the cage

I do have some suspension, but AFAIK its more for road race, handling, etc, and while I don't want to kill the handling aspect of the car, it doesn't squat, AT ALL, its pretty firm.

qa1 12 way adjustable rear shocks
kyb quad shocks
racecraft springs
tubular upper and box lower control arms
caster camber plates

That's what I'm running now. I have a full bushing kit to install this winter and I do plan on a cage, 4pt at minimum. Weld in, and I'm also going to be welding in subframe connectors.

Check out jegs, they got weld in cages for the foxbody for $130 for the 4pt, and like $150 for an 8pt I think. Probably what I'm going to pick up this winter.

ive checked them out. they want 150 for a roll bar and 99bux to ship it. and then ill still have to buy tubing to finish the job because i plan to tie my upper and lower torque boxes into the cage to ensure they never tear. in the end my cage will be 2 points up front, 2 or 4 points on the main hoop (havent decided), 2 points for the lower boxes, 2 points for the upper boxes and 2 points on the rear shock mounts. thats 10-12 points and then if i cage the whole thing and put a halo in and a-pillar tubes, thatll be 2 more points. no prefabbed cage is like that
