The differance with medium to major mods is pretty much non existant. so who is actually gunna take a bone stocker to the track and try to blow doors off? Once you get your a$$ handed to you by some one w/ a few bolt ones.. you would rather die then be stock next time you run. My advise would be unless you are going to be a full drager, just get what you like. I have a GT vert which is probably the heaviest of all the Foxes.. and I still have handed many as$es to people in my area! I wouldnt trade it for anything else (except a Cobra or an 88 T-Top) In the end it all depends on how good you hook-up the power you have. a car with less hp can spank a car with more hp if you can get the hook down. Happy Moding!

yea i knew all that stuff about the lx being quicker than the gt's. The lx notch 5sd is the quickest stock while the gt auto is ball slow for what it is.

Good information but I think those are "dry" weights without the engine fluids like oil and coolant and gear oils, etc.

The Gt Vert is right on the money !! Thats what my 91 GT Vert weights with a 1/4 tank of gas. But my 88 LX is the skinnyone 2860.. heheh but i removed a few items inside. It ran the 14.02 stock times ...
