87 GT Idle
I noticed that when I am sitting at a light the cars idle will fluctuate up and down, between 700 and 1500.
After driving for awhile it will calm down and stay between 1200-1300, but then sometimes goes back to being between 700 and 1500.
I don't know everything the previous owner has done to the engine.
Any ideas?
I should list this mods in my sig, but here it goes
Equal Length Headers (not sure which ones)
HolleySyteMax Intake/Manifold
Flowmaster Exhaust
Stock cats (need to change these to high flow)
Still SD (will be changed to MAF)
Swirl

there is tons of things u could check for sloppy idle. i think they are listed in the tech section. but some are dirty IAC, TPS needs adjustment, throttle body is dirty, maf is dirty...just go over all these things and see what happens.
