yes it is a stock block and i was origonaly going to put a bigger cam in it but i dropped it and broke it in halve
really? I tried that with my old cam and it didn't break, I must have dropped it a dozen times at different angles. But anyway as said before your combo isn't matched right and not working together. You need to keep going and get better heads/cam to match the intake or reverse and get a smaller intake to match the heads/cam you have. 0.050 on a stock block is making the walls a little thin...kinda scary.

Timing was the first thing that came to my mind too, from what I've read on this forum thats a very common thing to not get perfect the first time.

i have a 1992 mustang i pulled the motor out bored it .050over mahle 2relive ft pistons, 5 angle valve jobe heads, eagle H-beam rods, trickflow upper and lower(2500-6500rpm) , msd wires, police intercepter cam(IDLE-5000rpm)............ and now i cant even beat a stock 5.0stang. the car is way slower plezzzzzzz help me
As you already know, you should have kept everything in the same RPM powerband when you upgraded. That makes a big difference. It's too late to return the parts now, but there's still time to fix it. Are your powerbands static or adjustable? If you replace your stock static powerbands with an adjustable powerband, you can compensate for the problem and get back lost HP and TQ.

Here's a link to a site that sells the adjustable powerbands for just under $250.

Sorry 5IVE.OH, had to steal your link
