Default Help with intake manifold

So i was planning on getting a new intake soon. Possibly a GT40 intake, Cobra intake, or possibly something else like edelbrock. Not sure on which one to get but i do know i would like one of those 3. Could someone help me with my decision on which intake is probably better and gives out more hp. Thanks

Problem is... it all depends on your setup. It will also depend on what your current "bottle neck" is. All three are better than stock intakes, but what else do you have? How much they will help depends on your current setup.

If that's the case, why not upgrade the heads first? The heads will give you more bang for your buck. You could even do both for better gains. And if you're really in the mood you can add a cam to that.

But either way, If I was going to swap out the intake, I would do the heads too so I'm not wasting my time and so I will get better gains. I like the old Explorers because you can get the heads and intake from them for a LOT less money. But if you're swappin everything out, try to match the parts as much as possible (so you don't end up with too much cam, etc.)

I'm going to be doing an H/C/I swap myself and I'm getting the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge kit. Just uver $2,200 and comes with everything I need.

Trick flow street intake it the best for the money. They put out a greatest amount of horepower inside of the stock power band. You can just bolt those up. and for a few more horses you can get the intake ported to match stock heads.
