SMOG PUMP REMOVAL INSTRUCIONS. maybe a sticky ?

Decent instructions on how to remove a smog pump, but this one is with the use of a delete pulley.
The instructions are for a sn95, but might be the same for earlier years with 5.0

RE: SMOG PUMP REMOVAL INSTRUCIONS. maybe a sticky ?
My smog pump seized up on Saturday while trying to leave Autozone (how lucky was that?).
The serpentine belt melted the smog pulley to just about a half moon!
I didn't want to buy a new one, also wanted more room to get to spark plugs and alternator easier, so I got rid of it.
The only thing I didn't do that this guy did was remove the piping from behind the engine.
Instead I cut the hose coming out at the top and plugged it there for now.
Thanks for posting this PDF, I wil finish up that last bit next opportunity.
Also, I noticed that my exhaust had absolutey no popping anymore, since plugging the little pipe coming off the cats.
It even sounds meaner too. The engine compartment is about half as noisy as prior.
I never knew how loud that air pump was!
I ended up going from a 104.5 inch belt to a 94.5 inch.
