RE: the untracable coolant leak
^^ He said that he was using heat though so that means that his heat works which means that his heater core is good whcih means that he wouldnt be leaking in the cabin lol

If its been happening for awile the core can slowly leak. That doesnt necessarily mean that the core wont still work and heat the car. My heater was working fine when I found that my core was leaking on the floor

RE: the untracable coolant leak
We had a car in the shop the other day that had a leaking head gasket and the tips of his #2 spark plug was melted because the coolant was getting on them and cooling them down. Kind hard to explain.

Don't forget to check the coolant reservoir tank for leaks. Remove the tank and fill it with water and check for leakage.
Use a cooling system pressure tester and pressurize the cooling system and look for leaks. Look around the bottom of the water pump and at the top of timing cover. Check your oil for chocolate milk shake like consistancy. Check your spark plugs. If you are burning the antifreeze you will find a plug that is clean like new. Usually when a heater core is leaking you will smell antifreeze inside the car and not be able to defrost the windows.
