Default TPS Goofy?

I got a "Check Engine" light this morning going to work. Coming home it went away though.
I plugged in my code reader just now and I get 2 numbers in my computers history, although system is O.K.

1. O2 sensors fault/rich
2. Operator error during Dynamic Repsonse Test/Wide Open Throttle not sensed

The rich reading does not bother me so much, but I was thinking that my TPS sensor is going goofy.
When I hoover around 1700 rpm my car bucks... especially when cold.
I called around for a price and it is $31 at Autozone and they say they can test my old sensor for me to make sure if it's bad.
What do you guys think? Anyone know why they had 2 different sensors for my year? Just curious.

One sensor is likely for the Cobra, but either way its very likely the TPS is your problem. I'd let the Zone check it for you, but keep your old one and return the part if it don't fix it.

Thanks, mdvaldosta. I'll remove the sensor and get right number off it to be certain.
I have to take the senosr out for them anyways to test it, right?

No you can test it on your car key on engine off, you need a voltmeter. Look for the proper voltage at idle and at full throttle, and check for any dead spots where no voltage is outputted by the tps.

yes key on engine off, and to check the voltage in case u dont know how, set it to direct current obviously, then the positive goes to the green wire then the black to a ground , it should read between .9 and .99 volts, if not loosen the two screws and turn it until it does, im sure u know how to do this and im soundeing stupid but just making sure

the voltage at WOT should be 5.0 volts, if it isn't, then the computer won't recognize the engine is wide open and not give it enough fuel.
