EGR valve. Do i need it still ?

Do i still use the EGR valve if i'm not using a smog pump ?

Well i dont have emmisions, In ohio emmisions is by the county, and in my county, we dont have emmision testing.

If you want to delete the EGR function w/out triggering the CEL indicator, simply disconnect and plug the vacuum line going to the EGR valve, but keep the EGR sensor and vacuum solenoid regulator connected.....the EEC-IV system will delete/bypass its function w/out triggereing the Check Engine Light (CEL)....the valve is now an ornament and a plug.

^^ exactly what i was lookin for, thanks, i appreciate it. Man i cant wait to get this damn car done. Its been sooooo long. Just about a year now since i drove it last.
