How much can you port stock 1990 mustang heads?? and how big of an intake and exhaust valve can you get to fit???

you can remove a good amount...is it worth the effort ? not really unless you in a stock class....for what you'll have in bigger valves and machine work you can find a nice set of iron gt40 or even a set of aluminum heads...

I'm sure there's a few horsepower to be had if you've torn down the motor and can't afford a nice set of heads. Maybe a little SOTP feeling? I might be doing that along with some other stuff when I tear down my motor this winter.

doing a good match port is all I would advise a rookie to do as you can make matters worse

I agree. There is velocity to worry about and porting with out a flow bench or some kind of gauge, chances are very good that more harm than good will come of it. Besides, even a set of professionally ported E7's still suck and will not perform as well as a set mildly prepped (not even ported) aftermarkets. Cost wise it makes no sence at all to put any money into the E7 heads.

Yup, that's all that I was going to do. BTW what's the thermactor bump for? Any specific reason? Hurting anything if you shave it down?
